As part of its participation in AFT's national "We Are One" Week of Action, AFT-Maryland will present "Stand in Solidarity: Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King." Hosted by Maryland/D.C. AFL/CIO President Fred Mason, this event will feature a film on Dr. King followed by a lively discussion of the issues of the Civil Rights Movement and their revelance to the struggles of working people in America today. The program will be held at the Baltimore Teachers Union conference room, 5800 Metro Drive in Baltimore on Tuesday, April 5th, and will start at 5:00 p.m.
