All members are encouraged to attend Lobby Night, and let coworkers at your worksite know about the event. Please take multiple Lobby Night flyers back with you to distribute to members and encourage them to sign up for a seat on the bus.
Education topics we will be pushing this year include the recommendations of the Kirwan Commission, the elimination of the BOOST/Voucher program, opposing Governor Hogan’s changes to the charter school law, and fighting any cuts in education due to declining enrollment.
