Baltimore sorely needs funding for Community Schools and Out of School Time programs! The people of our city cried out and demanded to be lifted up and given an opportunity. Educators, Community Schools, and Out of School time do just that. We need to fund and expand strategies like these that work!
Budget and Appropriations will have hearings at 3:00 and 4:00 pm for the Family League of Baltimore, which administers strategies like Community Schools, Bmore Healthy Babies, and City Schools.
Let’s pack the room and show the City Council that an investment in community schools and out of school time is a direct investment in the intellectual, physical, mental, and emotional welfare of our students.
