On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, we’re launching a statewide show of solidarity, online and in our communities, for the Day of Action to Protect Our Kids, Our Families and Our Communities.
Life is getting harder—not easier. Instead of helping kids and families get ahead, this administration is making life harder with:
- Cuts to schools and child care
- Attacks on student borrowers
- Muzzling academic freedom
- Cuts to healthcare and public services
- Immigration raids that make communities less safe
Families are facing rising costs while public education, higher ed, healthcare, and public services are being cut or hollowed out. Immigration raids are pushing fear into schools, campuses, and hospitals -- places that should be safe for learning, getting needed care, and belonging. Educators, healthcare workers, and public employees are being stretched thinner, asked to do more with less, while kids and families pay the price.
March 4 is a nationwide day of action to protect our communities and fight for a better life for all, for opportunity, freedom, safety, and affordability. We must keep the pressure up, because pressure works.
