2025-07-08 PGCC Fair Contract Rally

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, faculty, students, and community leaders gathered at Prince Georges Community College to rally against an unfair and deeply insulting pay proposal from administration.

The administration’s so-called “last, best, and final offer” includes just a 3.5% raise for faculty—while administrators are set to receive a 14% pay increase.

We have consistently demonstrated our solidarity with other labor unions, community initiatives, and most importantly within our own state federation. Our collaborations have produced victories at the bargaining table and in communities across Baltimore and throughout the state of Maryland.

Each had their own unique issue with the mother country, yet none alone could stand up to the world’s strongest empire at the time.

The labor movement, much like the original thirteen colonies, can only demonstrate its power in unity.
